1.  MONKEYPOX DECLARED GLOBAL EMERGENCY, CEPHEID PREPS PCR TEST

This month, the World Health Organization declared Monkeypox a global health emergency, with high risk in Europe and moderate risk around the globe. Cepheid will collaborate with BioGX to deliver a Monkeypox PCR test that will run on Cepheid’s GeneXpert ® system, which already has a global installed base of 40,000 systems in 180 countries.

2.  PANTONE x NASA COLOR COSMIC HISTORY

Hard to miss the first images from NASA’s James Webb Telescope—the largest, most powerful, most complex science telescope that has ever been put in space, in history. NASA engaged the color experts at Pantone to show the images the way only Pantone can—through the language of color.

Cytiva x Bayer: Improving the treatment of a broad array of diseases—including cancer—by developing the first modular end-to-end manufacturing platform for allogeneic therapies.

Precision Nanosystems x Replicate Bioscience: Accelerating the creation, scale-up and delivery of genomic medicines.

5.  OPCOS EXPAND MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES TO MEET GROWING CUSTOMER DEMANDS

Phenomenex China opens a second MDS lab in Shanghai, ready to serve small molecular, pharma and biopharma customers in Shangahi, Zhejiang and Jiangsu Province.

Cytiva and Pall Corporation acquire a new facility in Muskegon, Michigan as part of their 1.5 billion USD capacity expansion investment.

Cytiva will open a new, larger manufacturing site on its Uppsala, Sweden site to expand its manufacturing capacity of the Sephadex and Cytodex product families.

Pall Industrial announced construction of a new state-of-the-art 200 million USD manufacturing facility in Singapore to help meet semiconductor manufacturers' high demand for advanced filtration solutions.
